37 14 515 Replacing Rear Left Or Right Ride-Height Sensor

IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection)! Refer to 61 35... NOTES ON ESD PROTECTION (ELECTRO STATIC DISCHARGE) .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release nut (2) and remove control rod from jointed rod (3).

Installation: 

Replace self-locking nut.

Tightening torque, (9 N.m.).

Release screws (4) and remove ride-height sensor.

Tightening torque, (5 N.m.).

Installation: 

Jointed rod (3) must point from ride-height sensor to rear wheel.
