11 13 020 Removing And Installing/Replacing Oil Sump Bottom Section (N73)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Remove reinforcement plate.
Open oil drain plug and drain off engine oil. Refer to 00 00 610 ENGINE OIL SERVICE (N73) .

Disconnect plug connection on oil level sensor (1).

Release screws (2) and remove oil level sensor (1).

Release screws along line (3) and remove oil sump (4).

Installation:

Tightening torque, refer to 11 13 2A in ENGINE - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Clean sealing surfaces.

Replace gasket and sealing rings.

Assemble engine.
