61 31 040 Removing and installing/replacing switch for windshield wipers

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect BATTERY EARTH LEAD
- Remove FRONT SECTION OF STEERING COLUMN TRIM .
- Remove STEERING WHEEL
- Remove FRONT STEERING COLUMN SHROUD
Release screws (1) and remove windshield wiper switch (2) towards rear.
