61 33 050 Removing and installing/replacing left fanfare horn

Necessary preliminary tasks:

E70/E71 without engine oil cooler:
Remove GRILLE IN BUMPER TRIM ON LEFT .
E70/E71 with engine oil cooler:

Remove FRONT BUMPER TRIM .

NOTE: Work is shown on the E70 (without engine oil cooler) by way of example. There may be differences in detail in the case of other vehicle models.

WARNING: Risk of injury!
Tape off edges (1) of bumper trim.

Release nut (1) and pull holder with fanfare horn (2) forwards slightly. Tightening torque 61 33 4AZ .

Disconnect associated plug connection and remove holder with fanfare horn (2).
