66 54 005 Removing and installing control unit for night vision system

Necessary Preliminary Tasks:

Disconnect battery negative lead. Refer to 61 20 900 DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD .
Remove trim for instrument panel on right. Refer to 51 45 181 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BOTTOM RIGHT TRIM FOR INSTRUMENT PANEL .

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Press tab (2) to side and remove control unit (3) from module carrier.
