65 50 055 Removing and installing/replacing central information display (Version 2)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove center fresh air grille . See 64 22 162 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING MIDDLE FRESH-AIR GRILLE (128i) or 64 22 162 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING MIDDLE FRESH-AIR GRILLE (135i) .
Remove Car Communication Computer

Release bolts (1).

Lever out central information display (2) in direction of arrow.

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Disconnect plug connection (2) and release associated wiring harness.

Installation:

Make sure wiring harness is correctly laid and secured.

Remove central information display (3).

Installation:

Trim (4) must be correctly engaged.
