61 31 113 Removing And Installing/Replacing Both Shift Paddles For Automatic Transmission

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove airbag unit . See 32 34 030 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING AIRBAG UNIT (SPORT STEERING WHEEL) (128i) or 32 34 030 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING AIRBAG UNIT (SPORT STEERING WHEEL) (135i) .
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2).
Remove shift paddles for automatic transmission (3) in direction of travel.
Installation:
Make sure electrical leads are correctly routed.
Make sure shift paddles for automatic transmission are correctly seated on steering wheel.
