61 12 002 Replacing Battery Positive Lead

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove power distributor
IMPORTANT:
Do not under any circumstances pull/lever safety battery terminal off by force.
Open cover (1) and slacken nut underneath. Tightening torque, see 61 21 1AZ in 61 21 BATTERY WITH TERMINAL .
Slacken nut (2). Tightening torque, see 61 12 3AZ in 61 12 AUXILIARY CABLE .
If necessary, disconnect cable (4) from safety battery terminal.
Disconnect battery positive lead (3).
