33 11 271 Replacing rear cover gasket on rear differential

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Draw off or drain and catch rear differential oil . See 00 11 259 OIL CHANGE IN REAR DIFFERENTIAL INCL. USED OIL DISPOSAL .
Remove rear differential

Select rear differential:

188K
188L / 188LW
215K
215L / 215LW
215 with lock

After installation:

Add rear differential oil. See 00 11 259 OIL CHANGE IN REAR DIFFERENTIAL INCL. USED OIL DISPOSAL .
