51 47 ... Removing and installing/replacing floor panel underlay in luggage compartment on left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT STORAGE TUB

Left side only:

Remove LEFT STORAGE COMPARTMENT

Right side only:

Remove BATTERY COVER

If necessary, remove gas-filled strut (1).

Push retaining spring to end of gas-filled strut (1)
Remove gas-filled strut (1) from ball head
Release expander rivet (2) and nuts (3).

Feed out cover (4).
