51 24 140 Removing and installing/replacing rear window lock

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove PANEL FOR REAR LID

Release screws (1).

Disconnect plug connection (2) and remove rear window lock (3) towards bottom.

Installation:

Make sure guides (1) are correctly seated on rear window lock bracket.
