Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove drive unit for adaptive headlight . See 63 12 895 REPLACING DRIVE FOR LEFT ADAPTIVE HEADLIGHT .
Remove control unit for left xenon headlight . See 63 12 860 REPLACING CONTROL UNIT FOR LEFT XENON HEADLIGHT (FROM 03/2005) .
Remove bulb for left xenon headlight (ignition unit) . See 63 99 076 REPLACING BULB FOR LEFT XENON LIGHT (FROM 03/2005) or 63 99 076 REPLACING LEFT LAMP FOR LEFT XENON LIGHT .

After installation:
