51 13 401 Removing And Installing / Replacing Handle Strip (On Rear Lid)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove both rear lights in rear lid . See 63 21 183 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT REAR LIGHT (FROM 03/2005) (ON REAR LID) .

Release screws (1).

Snap handle strip (2) in direction of arrow out of clips (3) and remove.

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).

Replacement:

Remove both bulbs for number/licence plate light. See 63 99 401 REPLACING BULB FOR LEFT OR RIGHT NUMBER/LICENSE PLATE LIGHT (FROM 03/2005) .
