35 11 000 Removing And Installing Mounting Block For Pedals

IMPORTANT: Check the function after installation.

Remove panel for pedal assembly.  See 51 45 185 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM FOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY .

Release screw (1) on footwell air duct. First pull footwell air duct to left, then remove towards bottom front.

Detach retaining clip on brake pedal (1).

Withdraw pin.

Release nuts (2).

Installation: 

Replace nuts (2).

Tightening torque  . See PEDALS - TIGHTENING TORQUES - ALPINA .

Remove brake light switch (1).  See 61 31 310 REPLACING BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH .

Release nut (2) for brake pedal.

Installation: 

Replace nut (2).

Tightening torque  . See PEDALS - TIGHTENING TORQUES - ALPINA .

Unfasten screws (1).

Pull out light module with holder towards front.

Pull off connectors.

Remove light module.

Remove bearing bracket for pedal assembly.

Installation: 

Position guide lug (1) precisely during installation to prevent damage.
