11 65 035 Removing And Installing/Replacing Charger (BMW ALPINA B7 Radial Compressor)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove clean air pipe . See 13 71 038 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CLEAN AIR PIPE (BMW ALPINA B7) .
- Remove radial compressor drive belt . See 11 28... REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING RADIAL COMPRESSOR DRIVE BELT (BMW ALPINA B7) .
- Engine must be cooled down
- Switch off ignition
- Do not switch on ignition when charge-air pressure actuator is disconnected (engine limp-home program)
- Do not under any circumstances start engine
After completing work:
- Check engine oil level
- Clear fault memory
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Unlock and detach quick-connect couplings (2).
Unclip cable from holder (3).
Release hose clamps (4) and remove charge air hose.
