52 26 .. Removing and Installing/Replacing Left Or Right Easy Entry Bowden Cable

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove backrest cover. See 52 26 411 Replacing Backrest Cover For Left Rear Seat or 52 26 412 Replacing Backrest Cover For Right Rear Seat .
Removing seat fabric. See 52 26 400 Replacing Seat Cover For Left & Right Rear .

Unclip Bowden cable sleeve.

Feed Bowden cable nipple out of actuating mechanism.

Unclip Bowden cable sleeve.

Feed Bowden cable nipple out of release unit.

Cut open cable tie (1).

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty cable ties (1).

Unclip Bowden cable from metal retainer.

Feed Bowden cable out of seat backrest frame.
