51 45 075 Removing And Installing Carrier For Instrument Panel

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Disconnect plug connection (1).

Release nut (2) and remove control unit.

Unscrew nuts (3).

Tightening torque. See BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Unclip wiring harness (4).

Release screw (1).

Unclip wiring harness (1).

Release bolts (2).

Tightening torque. See BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Pull off knee protection (1).

Pull control units (1) out of control unit box.

Release diagnosis socket.

Release screws (2).

Lower steering column.

Unclip wiring harness (3).

Unscrew nuts (4).

Tightening torque. See BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Release screw (1).

Release screws (2).

Remove carrier for instrument panel.
