37 14 511 Replacing Front Ride-Height Sensor

IMPORTANT:

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Detach coolant expansion tank and place to one side. See 17 11 100 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING COOLANT EXPANSION TANK (N62TU/N52K)NOTE: Level switch can slip out when coolant expansion tank is removed.
Release screw (1).
Installation:
Align ride-height sensor holder by means of lug (2) to opening under screw (1).
Tightening torque, see 37 14 1AZ in 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release nut (2) and disconnect jointed rod.
Installation:
Sensor lever (3) must point from ride-height sensor to left front wheel.
Replace self-locking nut.
Tightening torque, see 37 14 4AZ in 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS
Release screws (1) and remove holder (2).
Tightening torque, see 37 14 3AZ in 37 14 ELECTRIC COMPONENTS
After installation:
- Carry out ride-height-calibration. See 37 12 012 Carrying Out Ride-Height-Calibration
- Check headlight adjustment, correct if necessary. See 63 10 004 ADJUSTING HEADLIGHTS
