34 21 169 Removing and Installing / Replacing A Brake Carrier / Brake Guard At Rear (Version 1)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove handbrake shoes. See 34 41 220 Removing and Installing/Replacing All Handbrake Shoes
Remove wheel hub. See 33 41 151 REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL BEARING ON REAR AXLE SHAFT

Release screws (1) and remove brake carrier (2).

Installation:

Tightening torque 34 21 3AZ. See 34 21 REAR BRAKE .
