- 11 9 263. See 11 9 260 COUNTER SUPPORT WITH SCREW CONNECTION
- 11 9 264. See 11 9 260 COUNTER SUPPORT WITH SCREW CONNECTION
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative terminal. See 12 00 ... INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY
- Remove and install center equipment compartment bulkhead. See 51 71 085 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTER OF ASSEMBLY COMPARTMENT BULKHEAD
- Remove and install front underbody protection.
- Remove and install complete exhaust system. See 18 00 020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPLETE EXHAUST SYSTEM (N73)
- Remove and install reinforcing plate. See 31 10 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REINFORCEMENT PLATE
- Remove and install automatic transmission. See 24 00 023 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (6HP26Z/6HP32Z)
Block flywheel (1) with special tool. 11 9 260/11 9 263/11 9 264. See 11 9 260 COUNTER SUPPORT WITH SCREW CONNECTION
Unfasten flywheel screws.
Remove flywheel (1).
Installation:
Flywheel (1) is secured with an alignment pin.
Fit new flywheel screws.
Clean crankshaft thread for flywheel screws.
Installation:
Tightening torque, 11 22 1AZ. See 11 22 FLYWHEEL
Assemble engine.
