11 13 020 Removing and Installing/Replacing Oil Sump Bottom Section (N73)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove reinforcement plate. See31 10 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REINFORCEMENT PLATE
Open oil drain plug and drain off engine oil. See 00 00 610 SERVICE - ENGINE OIL

Disconnect plug connection on oil level sensor (1).

Release screws (2) and remove oil level sensor (1).

Release screws along line (3) and remove oil sump (4).

Installation:

Tightening torque, 11 13 2AZ. See 11 13 OIL PAN

Clean sealing surfaces.

Replace gasket and sealing rings.

Assemble engine.
