52 17 034 Removing and Installing/Replacing Shaft For Head Restraint Adjustment

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove front seat . See 52 17 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT (COMFORT)
- Remove both rear panels . See 52 17 205 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BOTH REAR PANELS ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT BACKREST (COMFORT)
- Remove inner cover . See 52 17 041 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING INNER COVER ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT (COMFORT)
- Remove active head restraint support . See 52 17 380 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING HEAD RESTRAINT MOUNT ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT (COMFORT)
Bend shaft (1) in direction of arrow.
Pull shaft (1) out of gear (2) and remove.
