52 17 380 Removing and Installing/Replacing Head Restraint Mount On Left or Right Front Seat (Comfort)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove head restraint. See 52 17 390 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT HEAD RESTRAINT (COMFORT)
Remove both rear panels on front seat backrest. See 52 17 205 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING BOTH REAR PANELS ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT BACKREST (COMFORT)

Detach retaining points (1).

Unfasten cable clip (1).

Disconnect plug connections (2).

Feed out AKS carrier (3) towards bottom.

Release screws (1).

Installation:

Guide pins (2) of head restraint mount must engage in openings on AKS carrier.

Feed out head restraint mount (3) sideways.
