22 32 001 Replacing Rubber Mount For Transmission Mounting

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove complete EXHAUST SYSTEM
Remove heat shield at rear.
Remove heat shield at front
Remove transmission underbody panelling
Observe SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS on raising the vehicle

Release crash pin.

Installation:

Tightening torque: 22 32 1AZ . See TRANSMISSION MOUNTS for specs.

When fitting a new cross-member, the crash pin must also be replaced.

Screw head of crash pin must rest on transmission crossmember.

Unscrew nuts (2).

Release both rubber mount nuts on transmission.

Release screws (1) and remove transmission cross-member.
