Removing And Installing/Replacing Pressure Lines For Oscillating Motor/Front Axle (Front Pressure Lines)
Adhere to the utmost cleanliness. Do not allow any dirt to enter the hydraulic system.
Seal off pipe connections with plugs.
- Fill and bleed HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
- Check pipe connections for leaks
- If necessary, carry out INITIAL OPERATION FOR DYNAMIC DRIVE
After installation:
- Remove REAR ASSEMBLY UNDERSIDE PROTECTION
- Remove right steering gear cover
Necessary preliminary tasks:
Release nuts at junction I.
Tightening torque 37 14 13AZ . See 14 ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS for specs.
Release front right wheel arch trim in area of pressure lines.
Release screw.
Disengage pressure lines from pipe holder.
Remove pipe holder from front axle carrier.
Installation:
Replace pipe holder.
Make sure pressure lines are laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.
Tightening torque 37 14 14AZ . See 14 ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS for specs.
Release screw.
Tightening torque 37 14 14AZ . See 14 ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS for specs.
Press lower hose holder section downwards.
Installation:
Make sure pressure lines (1, 2) are laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.
Risk of damage! Pressure lines must not have any contact with the stabilizer (minimum distance 5 mm)!
Mark installation position of pressure lines to oscillating motor.
Release nuts (1).
Remove pressure lines from oscillating motor.
Installation:
Carry over identification to new component.
Pressure lines are protected against being mixed up by different thread diameters on the oscillating motor connection.
Tightening torque 37 14 18AZ . See 14 ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS for specs.
Feed pressure lines (1, 2) in direction of arrow out of front axle carrier.
Installation:
Make sure pressure lines are laid without tension and with sufficient spacing to adjoining components.
