52 13 023 Removing And Installing/Replacing Drive For Left Or Right Active Seat

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove FRONT SEAT
Remove seat cover for front seat. See NORMAL/SEMI-ELECTRIC SEAT , NORMAL/ELECTRIC SEAT , or SPORT SEAT .

Release screws (1).

Tip seat towards rear.

Tightening torque: see 6AZ in 52 10 FRONT SEATS .

Unclip hydraulic pockets (1) with supports on left and right from flex mat.

NOTE:

If necessary, release clips (2). Remove hydraulic pockets (1) from supports (3).

Feed hydraulic pockets (1) through flex mat towards bottom.

Detach retaining points for drive in area (4).

Disconnect plug connection.

Remove drive (1).

NOTE:

Drive and hydraulic pockets form a single unit and can only be replaced as a single component.
