13 41 555 Replacing Both Idle Speed Actuators (S85)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release bolt on cable duct (1).

Release nut on cable duct (1).

Tighten to specified torque, see 12 52 3AZ in 52 CONNECTORS, PLUGS .

Unlock plug in V-chamber and disconnect, lay cable duct (1) to one side.

Release clamp (1) and detach hose from idle speed actuator (2).

Tighten to specified torque, see 13 41 2AZ in 41 STARTER WITH MOUNTING

Unscrew nuts.

Tighten to specified torque, see 13 41 1AZ in 41 STARTER WITH MOUNTING .

Pull idle speed actuator (2) in direction of arrow out of cylinder head.

Installation: 

Replace sealing ring (1).

NOTE: Now clear the fault memory.
