3. 0 Pretreating The Bonding Surface

Cover area around bonding surface.
Remove swarf, flaked paint etc. from bonding surface with a brush. Use of compressed air prohibited!
Then clean bonding surface with a clean, fluff-free cloth impregnated with isohexane or isopropanol. Isopropanol-water mixture from the window bonding area is not permitted!
Allow an air drying period of at least 2 minutes. Bonding surface must be completely dry.
Do not contaminate bonding surfaces once they have been cleaned (sweat from hands, fingerprints, etc.).
