51 11 156 Removing and installing front bumper trim

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

NOTE: The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.

Release screws (1).

Release screws (1) on wheel arch trim (2).

Installation: 

Make sure wheel arch trim (2) is in correct position.

Release screws (1).

Unclip bumper trim (1) with a 2nd person helping towards front from catch (2).

IMPORTANT: Do not damage bumper trim when pulling off.

The 2nd person holds the bumper trim (1) while the plug connections for the fog lamps in area (2) and for Park Distance Control (PDC) in area (3) are disconnected.

Remove bumper trim (1) towards front with aid of a 2nd person.

Installation: 

Height adjustment, refer to 41 00... BODY GAP DIMENSIONS .
