61 20 900 Disconnecting and connecting battery negative lead

Follow instructions for disconnecting and connecting battery (See 12 00 ... INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING BATTERY )
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove panel for battery container (See 51 47 130 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM PANEL FOR BATTERY CONTAINER )
Disconnect battery negative lead (1).
IMPORTANT:
Secure battery negative lead (1) in sideways direction.
Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ. (See GENERAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEM - TIGHTENING TORQUES article)
