51 43 027 Removing and installing/replacing cover on side trim panel upper section on left or right

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove panel for storage box upper section at rear  (See 51 16 236 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING PANEL FOR STORAGE BOX UPPER SECTION AT REAR )
• Remove chest strip  (See 51 43 100 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING REAR LEFT OR RIGHT CHEST STRIP )

Lever out trim (1) sideways and unclip from belt deflection receptacle (2).

Lay belt (1) to one side.

Release screw (2) and remove belt deflection receptacle (3).

Pull cover (1) towards rear and release from catches (2).

Installation: 

Pay attention to guide in area (3).

Installation: 

Catches (1) of cover (2) must not be damaged.
