51 43 100 Removing and installing/replacing rear left or right chest strip

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove panel for door pillar  (See 51 43 150 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING PANEL FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR )

Release rivet (1).

Unclip chest strip (2) in upward direction from retainers (3).

Installation: 

If necessary, replace faulty retainers (3).
