51 44 002 Removing and installing/replacing roofliner

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove both panels for roof pillar at front (A-pillar) (See 51 43 201 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING PANEL FOR ROOF PILLAR AT FRONT (A-PILLAR), LEFT OR RIGHT )
Remove both sun visors (See 51 16 080 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING SUN VISOR AND LEFT OR RIGHT COUNTER SUPPORT )
Remove both panels for door pillar (B-pillar) (See 51 43 150 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING PANEL FOR LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR PILLAR )
Remove both trims for roof pillar at rear (C-pillar) (See 51 43 251 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING TRIM PANEL FOR LEFT OR RIGHT REAR ROOF PILLAR (C-PILLAR) )
Remove ceiling light (See 63 31 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING COMPLETE CEILING LIGHT )
If necessary, remove module for passenger compartment protection (See 65 75 071 REMOVING AND INSTALLING (REPLACING) MODULE FOR PASSENGER COMPARTMENT SENSOR )
If necessary, remove both head restraints (See 52 13 390 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT HEADREST )

Move both seats fully towards front and backrests towards rear.

Feed out roofliner (1) sideways from mucket (2).

Slide roofliner (1) forwards from sliding clip (3).

Remove roofliner (1) to passenger door.

Installation:

Release sliding clip (3) from roof and fit on roofliner (1).
