51 16 240 Removing and installing/replacing rear storage box

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove panel for rear storage box.  (See 51 16 235 REMOVING AND INSTALLING PANEL FOR REAR STORAGE BOX )
• Remove trim for rear speaker.  (See 65 12 020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING SPEAKER (WOOFER IN SIDE TRIM PANEL) )

Release screws (1).

Lever out cover caps (2) and release screws underneath.

Unclip cable (3).

Disconnect plug connection (4).

Release screws (5).

Pull out storage box.
