63 12 001 Removing And Installing/Replacing Left Headlight (From 03/2005)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove FRONT BUMPER TRIM (For ALPINA see FRONT BUMPER TRIM (BMW ALPINA B7) )
• Remove HIGH-PRESSURE NOZZLE

Unlock plug connection (1) on headlight and disconnect.

Release screws (1) on headlight (2).

Installation: 

Tighten screws (1) hand-tight only.

Pull headlight fully towards front.

Close hood/bonnet and BODY GAP DIMENSIONS headlight to fit.

Open hood/bonnet and tighten down screws (1).

Pull out headlight (1) forwards slightly.

Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.

Remove headlight (1).

Replacement: 

• If necessary, remove bulbs  . See REPLACING HALOGEN BULB FOR LEFT HIGH-BEAM HEADLIGHT (FROM 03/2005) , REPLACING BULB FOR LEFT XENON LIGHT (FROM 03/2005) , REPLACING BULB FOR FRONT LEFT SIDELIGHT (FROM 03/2005) , and REPLACING BULB FOR TURN INDICATOR, FRONT LEFT .

Installation: 

Adjust HEADLIGHT .
