51 16 ... Removing and installing / replacing front insert (on storage compartment trim)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• Remove trim for storage compartment. Refer to 51 16 211 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING FINISHER FOR STORAGE TRAY .

Release screws (1) and remove insert (2).

Carefully release pin (1) from catch (2) and remove decorative trim from insert (3).

Installation: 

Pin (1) and catch (2) must not be damaged.
