61 31 115 Replacing rocker switch for power window operation

Special tools required:

Driver's and passenger sides:

Lever out switch unit (1) with special tool 00 9 321 and remove.

Disconnect plug connection(s).

NOTE: Retaining clips (1) may catch under door trim panel while switch unit is levered out.

If necessary, remove door trim panel. Refer to 51 41 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIG .

Driver's side only:

Loosen screws (1).

Disconnect toggle switch for window operation (2) from switch for door mirror (3).
