51 34 471 Replacing Rear Left Or Right Door Window Glass (With Roller Sun Blind)

Necessary Preliminary Tasks: 

• First move door window glass into position.
• Remove function carrier in rear door. Refer to 51 22 035 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUNCTION CARRIER (WITHOUT ROLLER SUN BLIND) ON LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR  and 51 22 435 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUNCTION CARRIER (WITH ROLLER SUN BLIND) ON LEFT OR RIGHT REAR DOOR .
• Remove window cavity cover strip. refer to 51 22 302 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING CHROME STRIP FOR WINDOW CAVITY COVER STRIP, REAR LEFT OR RIGHT .

Open door window glass (1) up to measurement "A".

A = approx. 150 mm.

Disconnect plug (1) (risk of trapping).

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque, refer to 51 32 2AZ in BODY EQUIPMENT - TIGHTENING TORQUES .

Installation: 

If necessary, initialize power window. Refer to 67 62... NOTES ON INITIALIZING POWER WINDOW .

Remove door window glass (1) towards top.
