Remove radio receiver.

NOTE: When installing a replacement radio, it is necessary, because of the shortened radio finishers, to stick felt strips on the function carrier.
If installed without felt strips, the radio will not be exactly seated and rattling noises may occur.

Vehicles from 5/2002:

The felt strips are already fitted ex works in these vehicles. Build date must however be checked on vehicle without fail.

Installation:

Four felt strips (two on top of each other) must be stuck on at the top along the edge of the function carrier and one on the mounting hole to the radio pin.
