51 24 110 Removing and installing/replacing lock for rear lid upper section

Remove rear window wiper motor. Refer to 61 62 060 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING REAR WINDOW WIPER MOTOR .

Disconnect plug connection (2).

Release screws (1) and remove rear lid lock (3).

Unclip emergency actuating mechanism (1) from rear lid lock (2).

Installation: 

Adjust rear lid latch (striker) for upper section of rear lid lock.
