Remove Center Console:

Remove panel for preselector lever, refer to 51 16 210 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING FINISHER FOR PRESELECTOR LEVER .

Removing and installing fresh air grill in rear compartment, refer to 64 22 190 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING FRESHAIR GRILL IN REAR OF CAR .

Unclip finisher (rear oddments tray) over rear (1) and front (2) apertures.

Remove screws (1 ... 2).

Disconnect plugs (3 ... 4). Unlock connector housing (5) (if necessary after removal of the center console) and remove.

Lift center console (6) forwards and upwards to remove.

Unfasten screws and pull wooden finisher on oddments tray (center) forwards to remove.

Unfasten connector (1) (and wooden finisher) and pull connector holder (2) of complete wiring harness backwards.
