18 31 015 Removing and installing / replacing right exhaust tailpipe (M73)

1. (Cylinder bank 1... 6)

Remove rear splash guard.

Remove heat baffle plate from front axle support and from positive battery lead.

Unfasten screws on top exhaust pipe.

Installation: 

1. Replace sealing ring,
2. refer to 18 11 015 REPLACING SEALING RINGS (M60, M62, M73)

Unfasten screw connection on flanges (1 and 2).

Remove exhaust pipes.

Installation: 

1. Check seals (1 and 2) and replace if necessary.
2. Replace self-locking nuts.
3. Coat thread with copper paste - CRC.
