51 16 202 Removing and installing/replacing front cup holder
- Remove heater controls, refer to 64 11 750 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEATER CONTROL .
- Remove left and right seat heating switches, refer to 61 31 090 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING SWITCH FOR LEFT OR RIGHT SEAT HEATING .
- Remove switch for Electronic Damper Control, refer to 61 31 214 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING SWITCH FOR ELECTRONIC DAMPER CONTROL .
- Remove switch for rear window roller blind, refer to 61 31 216 REMOVING AND INSTALLING / REPLACING SWITCH FOR REAR WINDOW ROLLER BLIND .
- Remove switch for Park Distance Control, refer to PARK DISTANCE CONTROL .
- Remove multi-information display, refer to 65 81 010 REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING MULTI-INFORMATION-DISPLAY (MID) .
- If necessary, remove complete on-board monitor, refer to 65 52 510 REMOVING AND INSTALLING ON-BOARD MONITOR .
Snap out locking element (1) and lift out trim (2).
3 Hand mirror
Release screws (1) and clips (2) on left/right.
Release screw (1) above opening of detached trim (2).
Open cup holder (1).
Release screw (2) underneath cup holder cover.
Unhook and remove retaining strap from trim (1).
First lift out function carrier (1) on passenger side (2), unscrew a little, then lift out on driver's side (3) and remove.
Release screws (1) with toothed washers (2) on left/right. Remove cup holder (3) from function carrier (4).
Installation:
Insert cup holder (3) and initially tighten screws (1) with toothed washers (2) on left/right, do not tighten down fully.
Align cup holder in correct position and tighten down screws (1) on left/right.
Installation:
Insert retaining strap (1) in support (2).
Install retaining rings (3) if necessary.
