34 52 545 Removing and installing/replacing transversal-acceleration sensor DSC3 up to 09/98
- Removing driver's seat,
- Standard seat, refer to 52 13 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT SEAT (NORMAL / ELECTRIC) .
- Comfort seat, refer to 52 17 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT (COMFORT) .
- Sports seat, refer to 52 16 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT SEAT (SPORTS/ELECTRIC), LEFT OR RIGHT .
- Removing lower left door pillar trim.
CAUTION:
After replacing the acceleration sensor, calibration must be carried out with DIS (Diagnosis and Information System) under the "Service functions" menu item.
Lift floor trim panel (1) and fold sidewards.
Release plug connector (2) and pull off connector.
Unfasten screws (3) and remove acceleration sensor.
Installation:
- Ensure proper locking of the plug connector.
