51 21 330 Removing and installing/replacing window cavity cover strip on inner front door

Remove front left or right door trim, refer to 51 41 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DOOR TRIM PANEL, FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT (PROTECTION) .

Beginning from rear, raise clips (1) with special tool 00 9 321 (folding leg).

Press cover strip (2) upwards out of clips.

Remove Cover Strip (1) Past Window Frame Towards Rear.

Installation: 

  1. If necessary, remove faulty clips (1) from inner door panel (2) and replace.

Installation: 

  1. Remove front left or right door trim, refer to 51 41 000 REMOVING AND INSTALLING DOOR TRIM PANEL, FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT (PROTECTION) .
  2. Coat cover strip with rubber protection coating agent (sourcing reference: BMW Part).
  3. Begin with assembly at front (1).
