Cylinder Head (Right): Installation

  1. Clean sealing faces of cylinder head and engine block using wooden scraper. Ensure no gasket debris drops into oil and coolant ducts. Threaded bores in engine block must be free of dirt and oil.
  2. Replace cylinder head gasket. Install new cylinder head bolts. See Figure . Tighten cylinder head bolts from inside to outside in sequence. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
