Seat Occupant Detection System, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front passenger seat. Refer to Front Seat, Removing and Installing .

-- Install the front seat to the seat repair bracket. Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove the seat functions control module. Refer to Seat Adjustment Control Module, Removing and Installing .

-- Release and disconnect the connector for the Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706-.

-- Free up the electrical wire.

-- Remove the seat trim panel bracket. Refer to Seat Trim Panel Bracket, Removing and Installing .

-- Disconnect the modular wiring routing. Refer to Overview - Front Seat .

-- Open the corrugated tube and free up the wire.

-- Remove the nut -arrow A- and free up the wire.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors -B arrows- and free up the wire.

-- Unclip and free up the wiring harness from the seat pan.

-- Remove the seat pan cover and cushion. Refer to Seat Pan Cover and Cushion, Removing and Installing .

-- Separate the seat pan cover and cushion. Refer to COVER, SEPARATING FROM SEAT PAN CUSHION .
