Seat Pan, Replacing

Procedure

-- Remove the front backrest. Refer to Front Backrest, Removing and Installing .

Front Passenger Seat:

-- Remove the seat belt fastening detection/seat occupant detection sensor. Refer to Seat Belt Fastening Detection .

-- Equipped on some models: remove the fire extinguisher bracket. Refer to FIRE EXTINGUISHER BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the seat pan cover and cushion. Refer to Seat Pan Cover and Cushion, Removing and Installing .

-- Sport seat (Q1J): remove the air cushion for the seat bolster inflation adjuster. Refer to SEAT BOLSTER ADJUSTER AIR CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Sport/Comfort seat (Q1J/Q2J): remove the seat bolster support. Refer to SEAT/BACKREST BOLSTERS SUPPORT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front seat belt latch. Refer to FRONT SEAT BELT LATCH, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the seat position sensor. Refer to SEAT POSITION SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bracket for wiring harness. Refer to WIRING HARNESS BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Vehicles with Sport Seat (Q1J): remove the bracket for the fan. Refer to SEAT CUSHION FAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Assembly is performed in reverse order.
