Windshield Wiper Arms, Adjusting
Procedure
Conditions
- If the windshield wiper motor should run during the procedure, the hood must be fully closed.
-- Remove the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arms, Removing and Installing .
-- Switch the ignition on.
-- Activate "one-touch wiping" and let the windshield wiper motor run into its end position.
Tip
Every second time the windshield wiper motor is switched off, it returns to a lower rest position, which ensures that the lip of the wiper blade is turned in the opposite direction.
