Assembly Mount, Checking Adjustment

Procedure 

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Free up the wiring harness on the bracket -1- for the air filter housing.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the bracket for the air filter housing (example illustration above).

-- Make sure that the edges on the support arm -1- and transmission mount -2- are parallel on the transmission side.

• Dimension -x- = dimension -x-.

-- Check the installation position at the engine mount:

• The support arm must be a distance of at least -a- = 9 mm to the engine mount.

TIP:

The dimension -a- can be checked using a 9 mm drill bit, for example.

-- If the distance measured is too small, adjust the subframe. Refer to ASSEMBLY MOUNT, ADJUSTING .
